Hi everyone,

This is what I've been working on for the last few weeks. It's nearly completed, I just need to paint the carbine and sword. The sword straps have been pulled outwards so I can paint the scabbard. I've got a resin pillar from Armand Bayardi that I'm going to put in the corner. Also, I may add a little dirt on the knees and boots. It's painted in acrylics.

I'd really recommend this kit by the way - there's so much delicate detail on it + it's very cleanly cast.

Edward, Nice work. That is an attractive figure. I like 18th century hussars more than Napoleonic ones.~Gary

Edward you really did great with this beautiful figure from Andrea. I'm a big fan of Napoleonic period and also related periods. I was thinking to get this kit also, so your comments proved really handy for me.

Thanks a lot Gary.

Xenofon - the kit comes with instructions for painting 11 regiments in a variety of colours - this is the 5th regt. You'll need to srape off the skull and crossbones if you choose to paint another regt though. Also, I had to carve off the details from sabretache because 5th regt's were plain. That reminds me, I need to stick on the sabretache!

Hi Edward,
Very good skintones and you managed to get a very beautiful expression in the eyes. Top rate work!
Johan ;)

Premium!!

The face is excellent and the pose and detail of the figure is very appealing! This does look like a great figure to add to the grey army.

Great work!

Ed, how the devil are you mate?
Top stuff this. Very well executed figure, and you've kept the black uniform very 'black' as well.
Look forward to seeing more, let us know what you've got planned next. ;)

Tony, I'm good, how are you doing? Thanks for the compliment, I was worried the uniform was a bit too black. Are you going to Welling next weekend?

The next figure in the pipeline is the Poste Militaire Uhlan I got at Southern Expo - he's undercoated. Then maybe Elite's Highland Clansman. What are you working on at the moment?
