A Fixture
The first of two completed projects, this bust of Andreas Hofer by Ulrich Puchala is an interesting and colorful portrait of the historically significant Austrian (Tyrolean) freedom fighter. I think that Ulrich captured the proud farmer's aire in this piece. He was a nice little change from the normal subject matter for me. I had lost my drive over this past winter but now that spring is returning the muse has returned as well.
