I like the mail. Looks good. I just started the VL 120 mm Black Prince. How did you paint the mail?

Just a brief suggestion on the photo. May be use something a bit more neutral as the purple distracts from a fine figure.

Hey Keith,
When painting mail and armor on a resin figure,I a use pewter rub and buff
1- paint entire mail with Ploys black.
2- dry brush with rub and buff.
3- when dry,buff the entire mail with a soft cloth.
4- for deep shadows use ivory black.
5 -For extreme highlights dry brush just a little testors silver.
6- no sealer,a little tarnish gives the mail a realistic look
Good luck on the Black Prince,I have this figure,it's nice.

Very well done, it's easy to imagine him contemplating life in some desolate field somewhere. For some reason, I especially like the armor on his lower legs. Good job!

Stephan I've been painting figures over ten years.This particular figure surprisengly ,only took me two weeks. Didn't have to do much grounwork,it came with the kit.
