Hi guys, just wanted to show you what I'm working on lately. It's in 54mm. It's a 146th Zouave

Stephen, Looks good so far. My only comments would be to make sure the knapsack is not too big, though you look to have yours already done. The other thing (and this looks done also) is to try and position the canteen sling/strap over top of the other equipment to make taking a drink from it easier for your soldier. These may be nit picky little things but equipment scale and how your soldier is wearing his equipment will help to make it better than the rest if accuracy is important.~Gary

Hi Stephen,

Nice figure! I especially like the face which is very expressive. Even unpainted you can see a battle weary look into his eyes.

Johan ;)

Very nice Stephen.

How do go about the decoration on the jacket. Is it rolled and cut sheet, or flattened out roll of putty?

Very nice sculpting Stephen, he's looking the part so far. Great work on the jacket and the face and turban works really well.
I've been thinking of doing a zouave myself, but I know very little about them..they had some beautiful uniforms, that's for sure.

All the best...Roy.

Gry, you're right. But I still have to change the knapsack for the softer type. It's removable so I'm still in buiseness

Matthew and Guy, you're in luck. It's not a one of but to be commercialized

Maurizio, grazie per i complimenti. Appena ho qualch'altra foto ve la faro' vedere

John , all the decorations on the jacket are rolled out putty. A mix of MS and duro in about 50/50 ratio

Roy , my friend thanks. Appreciate it
