Hi Dave

Yes, the Telford show is well worth a visit. It's on two days (19th/20th November) at the Telford International Centre, and it's well signposted off the M54 (exit Jn4). It's a general model show with a very large trade presence and lots of clubs. The competition is usually very high quality and the figure classes are often very well subscribed. A good day out, especially if your modelling interests cover more than figures. Parking on site.

As for the Bath show, being a BMSS-organised event, it is more specific to figures. It's held in the Bath Pavilion, which is next door to the rugby ground. This is signed once you get to Bath, but if you follow the inner ring road towards Bristol and Wells, you would turn right at the set of lights just before the railway bridge (over the road) and the Pavilion is just down there on the right. Public car park opposite at the cricket ground.

North Surrey show is on December 3rd. MIght be a bit of a hike for you, but it's a good, friendly show.

Cheers

Phil

Hi Dave

There is another one in Sutton North Surry on the 3rd of December at the Thomas Wall Centre, Benhill Avenue, Sutton Surrey. I hope to make a few more shows this year

Letchworth was good the B.O.S. was a cracking piece from Dave Ashby, luckily my Marcomannic came in joint silver with another one of Daves Pieces in class 1...

Hi

Dave has finally joined here so we should be seeing some of his work if I can get him to post it, luckily for me hes a mate so I get to see it first hand.

I have asked him if I could photograph some of his work and will post when we get round to it.

Robin

The Standard at Letchworth was great! Especially for a mid-size show! pF members all over the place; and doing well in the figure awards. Great to catch up with you guys again and to meet Callum.

Telford is a bonkers show! massive venue, loads of traders - less figures as it's an IPMS event, but inspiration all around. One of those places to pick up wierd and wonderful diorama/groundwork titbits - finally found some Heki grass last year.
