Anyone going to the L.I. Show tomorrow?

Are any of you folks going to be attending the Show on L.I. tomorrow? I know that Mike Blank, Alan and Marion Ball, and Ian MacKenzie, among the very talented local crew, will be there. I'm new to figure painting but they have sure made me feel welcome and have been very helpful in the teaching department. I'm entering my first three figures and will also bring along a couple of sample bases I have made. I design and build furniture for a living and have had a ball palying with forms for bases.

Hi Michael,

I'm not going to the show, but wish you all the best as you enter your figures! Shows are a great way to advance as you can see others' work up close and personal.

Side question: Do you sell your bases? I know myself -- and others on pF -- are always on the prowl for great bases.....
