Can any of Spanish speakers translate this for me, I tried babel fish but it was gobbledygook.

Hardy,

Rather than translate the whole rambling message, he is basically saying that you have a very distinct, or easily recognizable style. He mentions that you work in oils exculsively. It is the way you technically employ the oils that makes your work stand out. He compares your work to Mike Blank in terms of coloring and your textures to Gianfranco Speranza's work. The result is a very recognizable style among the "superlative" Class 1 of figure painters (I assume he means that among the best painters, your work really stands out.). That's basically it in a nutshell.

No problem, and PS-I agree. You have an exceptional painting style that really brings life into your work. Your texturing is better than anything I have seen in years.

Hi Hardy, i was going to translate it but Lou did a great job :)

If you need to translate more spanish don't bother to ask me.

Cheers

Hello,

Lou has made an excellent resume of the text. Just a precision, about the last sentence:

El resultada es una pintura muy personal y reconocible entre la siempre superpoblada clase 1

"The result is a very personal painting style, reconigsable (even) among the always overpopulated class 1"

I'm sure they are referring to Class 1a of Euromilitaire Show, reserved for Foot Stock Figures under 65 mm - a "painter's only class". What they mean is that Hardy's figures can be made out, and draw attention, even in that most concurred of the various classes.

Regards,

Dani
