Hello everyone,

I have in my hands one of the latest creation of Andy Cairns of AC Models from New Zealand! I must admit that WWI releases from AC Models were impressed me from the start but even more when I saw them in real! The sculpting quality and the casting are very high and also they have very realistic poses. Three figures in total plus accessories. They are casted in High Quality Grey Resin. There are no molding lines or air bubbles! Or very few that can be corrected easily as with all resin kits. Very impressive! I like very much the surface of this grey resin and the sculpting of Andy! And the fit is almost perfect as you can see. Minimum clean up work and go for painting! I took a lot of pictures so you can have your own personal evaluation. So we have:

Title: ANZAC’S WWI, Boiling the Billy
Code: ACM75019
Size: 75mm
Scale: 1/24
Sculptor: Andy Cairns
Pieces: 33 High Quality Resin Parts including the big circular resin base with interesting and rich groundwork
Packaging: Very Strong Carton Box

For more information you can visit the company’s website www.acmodels.co.nz or contact directly Andy.

Superbly sculpted and posed. A head with a service cap and neck cloth would have covered all the ANZAC and British headgear worn in the Middle East. I can't find a price list on Andy's web site and the UK distributers don't have this or several other of his WW1 kits.

I must admit that I've been critical of AC Models casting in the past but this certainly seems to be a much better product. Not sure what you're doing different Andy but its paying off.

Great subject by the way - love it.
