APG would again like to thank Matt Springer for his two generous donations to The Artist Preserrvation Group, and to clarify several points about two separate sculptures he's providing.
FIRST - Matt has sculpted a remarkable 250mm bust of General Hancock that's now available thru Michael Roberts Ltd. All proceeds go to APG's ongoing mission to preserve and enhance various facets of American military history.
SECOND - A unique raffle will be held at The Gettysburg Show for yet another new 250mm bust sculpted by Matt. The winner will submit three (3) subjects to Matt and he then will select one to sculpt and paint for the lucky individual. Raffle tickets are $10 each (6 for $50) and the drawing will be held at the Show on Saturday, August 8 (you need not be present to win). Details regarding the raffle, bust and Show may be found at APG's website at www.artistpreservationgroup.com.
If you've not yet reserved a room for this exciting new event, check the APG website for details. There will be battlefield tours, special showings of artifacts from Gettysburg, a cookout, a selection of great raffle items, and a figure auction featuring some of the country's top painters. Many rooms have already been reserved at the beautiful Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel, and the list of vendors who'll attend continues to grow. Make your plans to attend NOW.
