here is my take on this great great bust from Nuts Planet.

it's been a very long process as i begun working on it like 3 years ago, but was never satisfied so there'S a lot of various tests as undercoating :)
metals are True Meals from Scalecolors ... as are the acrylics for the non metallic parts :)

PS : it's been such a long time since i had fun painting something historical !

Looks very well done Franck but I'm afraid the pics don't show the real piece...........or maybe they do.....

Wayne

i'm not sure of your question Wayne ? all the pics are taken with my cell phone : Samsung A51 in daylight conditions

Hi Franck

Nice to see you posting a bust and one you've had real fun with

Line the metallics on this and nice texture work on the material around the eagle and the hood , belts looks good

If I may not too keen on the eye colour but that's a personal thing

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Hello Nap, the effect on the eyes was ... a surprise to me, i used a very saturated blue (tesla blue) from scalecolors to paint the irises and, for some reason, it just "glows" once in daylight ...
with the lights at home it is just normal ... :)
