I was asked to post this. In the 1932 film, The Mummy, when Karloff as the Mummy came back to life he transformed himself into Ardeth Bay. I painted it with Vallejo acrylics.
Here's the pic from the movie. Being in B&W it's tough to try and figure out what colors to use.

And my model. Since the character made himself young, I also decided to make the base look new(er).

In parts of the movie when Bay wants to put people under a spell they changed to lighting to make it look like Bay's eyes were glowing. So I changed the lighting to imitate the glow - -

Thanks for looking.

Yes. Very nicely done. One of my favorite Karloff movies BTW. Is this one a commercial bust?

Superb project, and the picture really show it off well.
Well done indeed mate. Lots of nice touches.
A terrific likeness as well.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, it's a kit I believe is still available. Go to Gillman Productions site - https://www.facebook.com/Gillman-productions-135553959879208/?fref=ts
and PM him, or email Paul Gill - darknite8184 at aol.com . And of course change the "at".

Hi Kev
Nice painting here like the flesh tones and the fez colour
He certainly looks sinister !
Thanks for sharing

Thank. I almost forgot. For the Fez I tried something new in at I got a can of that spray that car guys use to upholster their model car seats. Well, it didn't turn out fuzzy, but ended up more like the vinyl look at some cars had on their roofs. Happy accident. BTW if anyone wants to try it, when you spray, a LOT sprays out so mask thoroughly and be prepared. ;)
