I received this figure in the mail today from Jose Jarque, of Ares Mythologic and was excited to see the detail of sculpting of the Minotaurus. Beautiful work by Jose to this figure that stands 60mm tall (without the wall).

The figure comes tightly packed with foam all around the figure to ensure safe arrival and the components are inside plastic zip-lok bags to safe-guard against lose in shipping.

The figure is comprised of 8 parts with a beautifully sculpted wall section to stand behind the Minotaurus.

Below we see the head - The Minotaurus is part bull and part man - and Jose has done a beautiful job of sculpting the bull's head.

I did a test fit of the axe with the arms and it was a good and tight fit with the axe having excellent detail as well as the arms being very muscular.

The main section of the body is beautifully sculpted with excellent drapery of the folds as well as the muscular sculpting done to the arms, chest and legs.

This figure begs to be painted and you should see it appear in my vbench over the next few weeks.

Conclusion - I find this kit to be of excellent quality and sculpting with minimal seam lines to scrape away (normal with white metal figures) and would reccomend this figure to all who enjoy the realm of Mythology / Fantasy
