These are a few pieces I've done up over the last 18 months or so. They are my first few 54's after years of 25/28mm figures. They are a little rough but with every piece, I feel my technique improving, up to the grenadier I posted earlier, that I think is much better then these.

These are all painted with Cidadel acryllics and washes. My switch to Vallajo paints in my more recent efforts has caused me to pack in the Cidadel paints.

Anyway, these are sort of my take off point. I will post WIP as I complete them. Hopefully an improvement will show!

Cheers

HI Again Colin, I can see you are a fellow Napoleonic fan, don't they make a great display, endless colour variations!
Your progress is obvious from the pictures and your most recent figure.
Have a great Xmas,

Keith

Very crisply painted indeed. You've shown these figures off to their potential, so well done.

Not sure about the skintones on that Mamluke though.

Thanx,
Your right about the Mamaluk, turned out kinda dark. I got the mix from a pegaso book, but after three tries I just couldnt get that mix to come up right. Was given a link to a great article yesterday that has a more likely mix. I'll give it a try if I find myself without a project one day.

Thanks for your input.
Colin
