So why not one of the defenders from the Judean Kingdom? They can be recreated from the Lachish Reliefs. A Judean defender from Lachish is even depicted in the logo of my the regional council where I live

Starting with the primer, as usual. I broke part of the left sleeve, but will fix it later.

Proceeding with the skin, I mixed Vallejo Beige red with Scale75 Arabic shadow for Middleeastern tone:
