Lovely work on the figure and the base work shows the figure off perfectly-In my humble opinion the creativity shown in basework is a major part in setting ones figures above the average. As a straight up and down painter and not terribly imaginative I am in awe of some of the way work is presented. Congratulations.

Very nice work; the natural groundwork and the bridge framing the scene makes it great.
 
I agree with the others, this is a very nice piece. The groundwork looks really good, the plants are convincing, and the wood looks very real. Is this a scratch built groundwork? Please give more information on how you constructed it. The figure looks superb also. One can see the joy in his returning from the front. Nice attention to details. I love the shoes. I think I am going to have to add this figure to the gray army.
