Australia Day was a "goodun" for me, got a round of golf in and not much else

Only down side to the day was it was too hot to go into my workshop and do any painting

A perfect day.

Slept in, got up and did some modelling, went to a barbeque for looooong lunch, drank too much, watched the fireworks over the Swan River, driven safely home by the wife, and currently watching "The Life of Brian".

Happy birthday Australia. 221 years old today.

Perfect Day here too. 31C and clear sky. 24 people over for a fun dinner under the stars.

Only blight on the day was a very poor performance by our cricketers. Seth Efricans thrashed us by 8 wickets in the ODI. Well done Seth Efrica, a well deserved win. The current world champions IMO.

Was it A-straya Day!!!
That would explain all the flag waving then.
I should pay a little more attention to things.
Cheers Nap!;)

While In Melbourne

spending a few hours while waiting for a flight, the Swanston st multi cultural parade was getting ready. Didn't watch it, but got this snap of the re-enactors from the Victoria Colonial Infantry Association.... one or two others, 'bout it.

Then wandered off to meet a mate, have brunch, and admire a streetful of shapely ladies wearing their summer frocks:D:D:D

Happy Australia Day, and cheers to our northern friends

Cheers
