Australian Peacekeeper 1990's

This is a conversion of the now rare Australian Military Workshop's 200mm 1990's Aussie digger, sculpted by our good mate Phil Walden. I sculpted a beret and brassard out of Magic sculpt and lengthened the boots, for all those who remember the stumpy toes of the original kit. A minor disaster occurred, when I dropped the head on the concrete floor, breaking off the nose and one ear, resulting in a severe test of my meagre sculpting skills to rebuild them. The badges were made out of metal foil and the detail painted on. Painted in acrylics.

Great paintwork - as a former peacekeeper I can tell that IMHO you got the blue tones of the beret and the badge spot on.

If you had not mentioned the damage, I would not even know it had been rebuilt. A nice conversion and paint job, I really like the camo and small details that really make it pop.
