Recently i bought the two beautiful samurai from Authorsculpt. Unfortunately, the spear of the seated samurai was broken, so i contacted Eugene at Authorscupt, asking for a replacement, and offering to pay for a new spear and postage.

Today i received a completely new kit 0f the seated samurai, not just the spear.

I needed to tell everyone here of the great service.

As you say great service Michael. Authorsculpt do some outstanding pieces.
Put the spare one up for sale on Market and donate what you recieve to a cause of your choice.
Good time of year to do something like this and you'll have no problem selling it

I regret - but sometimes really there are breakages at the item of Post.
One figure for the collector in Hong Kong, even has fallen and on it has passed a tractor!
But post Hong Kong has brought an apology, all details have collected and have returned to us. Certainly we have sent new.

If some of you still hesitate to by some Athorsculpt stuff,
go for it without any doubt !!.
P.S. even the russian post is effective: 7 days after ordering, the figure was delivered in Belgium.

For 2012 - it is a lot of hundreds departures worldwide, any departure was not lost. Only sometimes breakages for fragile details.
" Post of Russia " - I personally complete all departures, I pack and I send everyone.

Del, what a good idea! Unfortunately,the original purchase is wrapped up as a 'surprise', so i can't do anything until after xmas. The second box would have the broken spear, and i saw there is no chair or stool, so i, or the buyer, would have to make one.

I do volunteer work with a homeless shelter and a website where i counsel people with mental disorders, so those would be my choice. Perhaps i can offer the model for $20 CAD, plus postage.

A couple of years ago, I purchased a mounted samurai from this company. When I contacted it re: problem with website, I received not only the figure but a generous discount for informing about the problem. So, not only well-sculpted miniatures, but exceptional attention and concern for customers.

I also had a very good experience with Authorsculpt.I purchased the mounted Buffalo Hunter and was very happy with the casting and amazing quality of the sculpting.I was worried about the Russian post ,but received it in two weeks to New Zealand, so that's faster than sending something from the US. I will be adding the mounted Trapper to my grey army soon.

I just received my Buffalo Hunter, first class job on it now all I have to do is find the time to paint it!
