Also the figure of the horseman has a steel spoke (armature) in a back leg - for stability.

Very nice and very tempting as I found a couple Japanese looking stands at a yard sale last year that cry for someting like this.
Does the metal rod on the rear leg go up the leg? Otherwise, I'd only consider a resin version.

Nice execution of a difficult subject, Really well done.

It is also instructive to see the comparison between metal castings and resin. Notice how much more metal shrinks than resin. I can also assure everybody that resin shrinks too, just not as drastically.
