From the several phone calls I received yesterday, several planet members came home with awards from MMSI over the weekend. I am sure many more than I mention were recognized for their work and I hope other members who attended will post what they Know and some photos of the winning entries

Jay Hollowpeter - 2 Bronze awards
John Long - Gold award
Jim Patrick - Bronze award

Sorry if I have not mentioned others, but this is all I have heard so far and have not heard what the awards were for.

Congratulations guys..............I look forward to hearing from you all on what took the awards.

What a TERRIFIC time! Meeting old and new friends alike. Wow! Is it really over already? I'll do a review later this evening (sorry, duty calls) but to add a few names to the list:

Pete Herrera- Bronze
Anders Heintz- Gold (all of his busts!)
Dave Mosher- Bronze (Open) & Silver (Painters)
Ray Farrugia- Gold (93rd Highlander bust)
Stephen Mallia- (AKA: Sleeping Beauty) Gold (Jean I)
Joe Hudson- Silver (Painters) & Silver (Open)

All I can remember for now,
Jim Patrick

Can I toss in my lowly Pewter Medal with the big guys of planet Figure? Also
would like to mention that the 2 Seminars by Joe and John were the best and
most helpfull that I've been too.

Thanks guys,
Jay :)

Congratulations Jay...........what figures did you enter? I hope you can post some photos for those of us who were unable to attend.
