All parts of the kit are in a box with protective foam. The outer box has some very nice artwork by Jose Hidalgo which can be used as a painting guide. There is also a separate painting guide include in the kit.

The kit comprises of 8 white metal parts plus the base. Close inspection of the parts show a good level of casting and detail, very minimal seam lines or cleanup.

The left leg is separate from the main torso; dry fitting shows a good fit with no evidence of any filler needed between the joint.

A close up of the head shows the quality of the casting and the excellent detail sculpted into the expression of the face.

With the main parts of the body assembled and the head attached the figure shows some nice animation in its posture. I would highly recommend pinning the right leg and drill and attach it to a wooden base.

Here we can see both of the arms for the figure with the left one holding the M16 (I think?). Again good nicely cast parts.

A closer view of the water bottles and strap, these locate at the rear of the figure, again you can see the level of detail that has been sculpted into these pieces.

Conclusion:
A very nicely cast and detailed kit for anyone interested in this period of history. The figure has a nice dynamic pose and could easily fit into a vignette with one of the other new releases from Benito as well as stand a single figure. As I mentioned earlier I would recommend pinning the right foot to give the optimum amount of stability when mounted.
