A Fixture
Hi folks...just a quick post before the Christmas break.....being a fan of Napoleonic busts i first came across this release from Medieval Forge Miniatures on facebook and looked forward to its purchase.... It depicts a french infantryman at the crossing of the Berezina river between the 25th and 29th November 1812. I received my figure from El Greco Minatures yesterday....upon opening the box I was amazed at the sculpting....superb.....and the casting... exquisite... the worn uniform and the distressing of the belts is in my opinion fabulous..
I have been aware of this manufacturer for a while and admired the figures ....but this is the first time I have purchased one.....if this 1/10th scale bust is the first in a series then more of the same please.....
You have a choice of Shako or Bicorn.....the epaulettes are cast separate as are the buttons !!!!!
Will crack on with the painting in the new year... All the best from me and have a peaceful Christmas......Mike
