Hello there

Now 2007 is nearing it's ending, I thought to ask you what figure you liked best this year.
I must say it's hard to compare but l'ollonaise of Pegaso has a fair change of being my favourite. I'm not sure if the shaving Cuirassier of Andrea was released this year but he's getting close too

What's yours ??

Personally my choice will fit two, foot figures Jula's Commodus and mounted MAB 75mm Chausseur ... on the fantasy side Latorre's Enigma range is outstanding, check the new Dwarf.

Just to many to list, I have bought so many this year I do not think I will live long enough to be able to paint them all, that new Pegaso Aztec and Chineese 90mm mounted figure are cool but arnt they all:rolleyes:

Despite the fact that i used not to like Napoleonics. Maurizio Bruno Pegaso 75mm mounted Hussars and Romeo Modelsa 90 mm Crusader by Gianni La Rocca are my favorites of the year !!

Yer the Romeo crusader is a stunner as well, got this one as well;) when I get to paint it is another question

To many excellent figures.
My personal choice goes to all of Maurizio Bruno sculpted figures this year for Pegaso and Romeo and specially the L Óllonais.
I also like G. Russo, Spartan he did for Alexander Miniature's.
JMD miniatures did a wonderfull figure with the Gallipoli figure.

I think the work that Maurizio Bruno has done in the second half of this year has got to be some of the best
work in figure sculpting,as well as that of his fellow sculptors who have had their work produced by Pegaso.

Best Figures Painted in 2007

I would have to say that Michael Roberts French Drummer Boy sculpted by Nick Dransfield and United Empire's AWI British Regiment of Foot Infantryman sculpted my Alan Ball are my top choices. Le Cimier's 54mm Marshall Bessierres sculpted by Bruno Leibovitz is my 3rd gem. Can't wait to tackle a couple of Michael Roberts new AWI figures...

Happy Holidays, Terry Martin

Best figure of 2007 ... well last year it was clear to me, but this year ... it's a tough question !
Of course it all depends on personal preferences for historical periods as well ...
Really, I just haven't got a clue ! I didn't buy any figure that was released for the first time in 2007 !!

So which one gets my vote ?

Well I just discovered this one; it just has got to take my vote for best figure of 2007, although I haven't bought one yet : Centauro Line's new 120mm General Gallifet.... I think I might buy one, although it's rather expensive for a 120mm ...
