Billy Fish (Sayeed Jaffrey) has passed

Sayeed Jaffrey, better known perhaps as Billy Fish in the film, The Man Who Would be King, has passed on, aged 86. He was a fine actor who handled comedy and drama in equal measure. RIP

The bulk of the body of his work will be a great legacy

He had a wonderful career and to me the hallmark of his teqhnique was in layering characters and idiosyncracies on top of dignity.

May his gods give him peace.
