Hi All,
After Porthole Newsome:rolleyes: decided to clean his cabinets, I made the mistake of showing Mrs Chimp:grumpy:well did my corner come in for some critique and believe me you don't want a certain type of critique from Mrs Chimp:(:nailbiting: :censored:.

Now while my cabinet is not as substantial as Roger's:notworthy::notworthy:, it still take me two hours sort out the models, re-stack the library, re-site the model kits to another place and clean.:depressed::shifty:

A big thank's mate, I can now find everything and I got my diorama in too:D(y). It was worth the tongue lashing:eek:.
Mind if you do it again I'm going to write to Mrs Turnip and ask her to melt your flats down and make me some fishing sinkers, god knows there's enough lead in your house to lead line it from a nuclear fall out:ROFLMAO:.
cheers
Richie
P.S. the fat gut and fat head is an optical illusion of the camera:X3:.

Hi Richie,

Looking good though I reckon you might have a thing for a certain period....and not a banana in sight!

Reckon the WIP sculpt with the camera needs a bit more ......

Thanks a bunch though .....Mrs Nap is swirling with the duster !!!

Great display love the diorama

:ROFLMAO: That's what you get for leading me astray at S&L, speaking of which I need to find room in my cabinet for the three figs I got there. I've assembled and primed them this trip so they are ready for painting when I get home, or at least one of them will be.

Looks good mate, I need to do something with my books but I'll wait 'til I've been asked a few more time, I'm not giving in that easily. :D

If you're like me it won't need doing for a few months now.

Hi Nap,
No matter how far you pull the gut in, it's got to come out somewhere else.:D

Hi Roger,
I did not give in easy either, it took about twelve months to get me out of the trees, yours was just the final nail in the chimp.

Hi Ralph,
I hate to see a grown man , I'm going to have to make you one.
cheers
Richie

Ooooo are you making tanks and armour type things?

Could be. ;)

I bought a Tamiya 1/35 Panzer IV at Hobbycraft in Falkirk for something to do on the ship. It's the first tank I've done in years and the first where I've set out to do a half decent job. The only downside is I didn't bring any paints, brushes etc. with me so I bought the bare minimum of gear required to finish it. It's making a refreshing change and good fun.
I'll bring it along to the next meeting for the proper plastic kit blokes to have a good laugh. :D

How are you going to fit that one in the cabinet????? more importantly who's getting blamed:blackeye::arghh:. You could always have a tank battle with Lester's gold winner at the club and smash yours into his:ROFLMAO:.

I would not like to say....so all answers on a post card to Billy Turnip, 1 North Sea, Davy Jones Court, County Neptune and you chance to win a Tamiya 1/35 Panzer IV, because he's not going to able to sneak that one in the house.

She knows and to soften the blow I might have made a rash promise, this could be the most expensive, badly built and poorly painted Tamiya kit on the planet.

I can advise on this one as I've become quite an expert in smuggling kits into the house without SWMBO noticing. It helps that my hobby room is a nuclear bunker and only I come down here - so I just have to take the risk of catching the post first and then hiding stuff. It makes the hobby more exciting and I've got quite good at it so recently some illicit books and motorbike parts are now down here with me too. Make me so happy which probably means I need some psychiatric treatment.

Cheers

Napoleon errr sorry I meant Huw
