Hi all. I'd like to share this piece from Altores studio.

This was the first 75mm historical figure I did. Finished it back in 2021.
But I had it in a cabinet in another room and noticed heavy dust on him.
So decided to repaint him as I really enjoyed it the first time and doing the basing etc.
However his bow & hand I stripped the old paint off and left it to dry I a tissue and accidentally binned it further on. Thinking it was just another piece of tissue.

Well I had came so far the rest of him and the base was on the way to completion I decided the only option was to attempt to sculpt my own bow & hand.
Not delighted with it. Bit wonky and out of scale but lesson learned and it's better than no model at all guess!!

Enjoy :)

You've made a great job in reviving him. Love the groundwork, very authentic.

Malc
Thank you mate. Much appreciated.

Reviving him indeed yeah :)
"Nurse. I need 10cc of acrylic primer! .. stat!!" :D

I looked at the pictures before reading thd post, not sure what that says about me but hey I can live with it. Would not have seen the new hand and bow if you hadn't mentioned it, really well done and a cracking paint job, love it.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Simon! It's not that great honestly but thanks. The hand is ok. He has no finger 'pips' but with the downward position of the arm you can't really notice!
But I wish I'd carved the bow down a bit more. But hey ho
Cheers!

!
Very nice work

The figure looks good and the basework is lovely, really sets it off nicely. Now you mention it that is a rather hefty looking bow...... But well done for reviving the figure.

Cheers Mario! I'm glad you like it. I didn't place the arrow in his mouth til the end. It was very strange looking without. But when you place it on his face comes to life. Great sculpt!
The eyes were hard though. 4 attempts to get something I was happy with lol.
Thanks mate.

Thanks Nigel! Yeah I wouldn't want to be lumping that around all day! :D

Really like the transformation of the face from V1, the warpaint works well, makes him look quite sinister.

Thanks! I think so too. I I didn't sit down to do it. I was planning to paint the face fully agsin but I made a mark and that just popped into my head to try it. Saved a bit of precious time too!

I didn't do much research into warpaints etc but I figured this was this guys 'hunting face paint'/ sneaky camo . As ive always taken this sculpt as him on the hunt for food. Never interpreted it as him in a battle really.
