Finally got back to work. Here is the Blackfoot warrior I was working on last year before my life got so rudely interupted... Would appreciate your thoughts, comments, criticisms and ideas. Thanks, Neill
Hey all, aprecaite you checking out the figure. any comments? I promise no tears , anger or hit squad will be forth coming.
Figure is 1/12 Scale Bust anchored to a cut from a Cedar root I found years ago whike out out hiking. That in turn is attached to a handpolish piece of Walnut burle from my woodshoop.
The figure has a Aluminum Wire Amature and is primarily of Magic Sculpt. The Scalp lock are unraveled polyester rope cut to length and brushed out with a brass wire brush.
The warshirt is a direct copy of a Blackfoot Warshirt from the private collection of a western artist I know in California. The Lance and Shield designs are from a museum I meandered years ago in Colorado.
Painting was done in Oils for the skin and Warshirt and Acrylics for the Warpaintand Shield work.
