I was bringing this viking out to the work desk to re-attach his sheild when I looked at his face...........the obvious hit me like a brick.............I had never painted the eyes in. I had a blind Viking!...........Corrective surgery was done and he can now see. I finished this figure (I thought) about 3 years ago and just discovered he had no eyes...............he has been to 2 shows..............did anyone else notice this as well? And my wife wonders why I always ask her to sit down and really look at a figure I finished.......hmmmm.....do people really hesitate to point out mistakes or errors someone has made. I hope not.

Hey Guy,

And you thought only the Viking was blind?! Kirk Douglas once portrayed a one-eyed Viking, you just did him one better. By the way, great paint job. Did he win any honors for you at either of the shows? If not, then I question the judge's eyesight.

Thanks Kenneth and Robin, appreciate the compliments. This is a 120mm Viking from Actramac Difusion. It originally came with another Viking with a Raven on his arm and both were standing in the bow of a Viking Longboat. I purchased them seperately and painted them seperately.
