Hi All,
The BMSS Annual Show will be in the same venue as last year:

The British Model Soldier Society’s Annual Show 2023
Salvation Army Hall, Reading Central Salvation Army, Anstey Road, Reading, RG1 7JR
Saturday 15th April 2023.

Admission £3 BMSS £2
Timetable of events
SHOW OPENS: 10:30
Competition Entries 10:30 – 13:00
AWARD CEREMONY 15:30
SHOW CLOSES 16:30

Competitions (Main Hall)
Class 1: Single foot figures up to 54mm 'standard' size.
Class 2: Single foot figures above 54mm size.
Class 3: Single mounted figures, any scale.
Class 4: Vignettes; two or three figures (any scale) with a common theme.
Class 5: Groups and dioramas, (4 or more figures)
Class 6: AFVs, soft skins and artillery, any scale, with or without crew
Class 7: 'Toy soldiers' up to a maximum of 30 figures
Class 8: Converted and scratchbuilt figures
Class 9: Busts. Non-military entries are acceptable but no erotica.
Class 10: Non-military piecesincluding fantasy figures but excluding erotica.
Class 11: Junior Class. Entrants must be under 18 on the day of the Show.
Class 12: Wargame Unit. A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 40 related figures
Class 13: “WEATHER”. The effect of weather on the soldier through the ages.
Entries must include at least one figure.

Well done to all those involved in organising the show. It went off well
I was also nice to catch up with old acquaintance's and have a chat.
We did sneak out for lunch as a friend recommended going to Sweeney and Todd for a tasty pie and pint.
if you're ever that way, I would definitely recommend a visit.

It was a good show good to catch up with friends again sorry no photos here spent all day working on the tombola

I was very good and didn't buy any new figures. :D.... but I did buy a few bases from Richard@ Oakwood bases.

Thanks to all who attended! It was a busy but rewarding day.
Here's a few shots of around the show.
Next Year we are planning on holding it on Saturday 28th APRIL 2024, at the same venue. Be there or be square!

Thanks for the photos as I said earlier never got around to it due to being tied to the Tombola I do enjoy doing it really
