A bit late I know, but if anybody's free on Saturday 5th Sept, there is the annual BMSS Interbranch competitions at the Masonic Lodge, 1621 Warwick Road, Knowle, Solihull, Birmingham B93 9LF.
You don't have to be a BMSS member, just come along to look at the models.
Entry £4.00 and we officially start at 10.00 (though we're not overly official).

Just returned from the BMSS Interbranch and I am distraught:cry::cry: (sorry, I mean we are). After winning it for eight years in a row, our branch (Northants) has been beaten into second place by a rampant Norfolk and Suffolk branch, with the Bristol branch coming in a very strong third. The quality of work on the tables was fantastic, and everyone thoroughly deserved their awards. Through the tears and sulks and kicking the cat, I just want to say thanks for a great day, well done everyone, and particularly well done Norfolk and Suffolk(y)(y):).
The venue is tentatively booked for September 3rd next year, so hope to see everyone (and if you can make it, more) then.
Best wishes, Northants Branch BMSS.

Well done the lads from Suffolk and Norfolk, very well deserved, some of the work work was outstanding today and congratulations to my good friend Kevin (Nap) Peart from Bristol for winning the presidents award and the Wendy Dilley award, very well deserved mate.

Congratulations as well to Olivia and Micheal who both won awards from Northants in the Junior Classes

I believe so, well deserved indeed from what Tom told me.
He gave me a pretty good run down of the day,
Sounds like a good 'un all round.
See you at euro Brian. I've ordered my badge so we won'y miss each other this time round.
