Does anyone have a finished version of either of these Bonapartes Busts:
BB-51 Scots Grey, 1810-1815 or BB-52 British Lifeguard, 1810-1815

They are both offered by Red Lancers but Chuck doesn't have any pictures of the busts to post. If you have one I would dearly love to see a picture. I am interested but will not buy any model sight unseen!

Also, if anyone knows where I can find one of the briefly offered Bonapartes 300mm busts of a Sergeant of the 24th Foot, 2nd Warwickshire from the 1879 Zulu War, please let me know. I've been looking for one for a long time. I would be interested in a kit or a finished bust.

I know this is an old post, and may not be linked to replys.

I can give the latest on the Busts from Bonapartes, I did call into Davids Shop and this is the full monty.

Late 2006 the casting company, david used went out of business and they packed up all of his moulds for collection, unfortunately leaving them outside in the great british rain, this rendered a lot of them damaged beyond repair.

Since david has found another casting company and they are still in the process of recovering any moulds which look usable, running some trial castings and make some decisions thereafter.

One of the other posts mentioned the Scots Grey that is OK but when its due out who knows, but I have personally seen a casting.

On some of them he is willing to sacrafice the painted figures he has in his own collection in order to re-release them but I dont think he will rush into doing this unless he recieves feedback to motivate him to do so? thats my impression

The 24th foot is in the same position but the painted one was borrowed and never returned to david so I dont think we will see that again, interestingly I know that it sculpted by Morris Correy, he did 6 busts for David, and that was one of them

I will keep you informed, he does have a very good cavalier bust and a french hussar available now, both of which are good.

Hope this helps, but ebay sound fav at the moment.
