Got a new Combi Boiler fitted by Scottish Gas at the start of the week, great job.
Having paid 1/3rd deposit I wanted to pay the remaining ￡2K. Phoned the relevant number and wa asked to confirm usual details, no probem until I said how much I wanted to pay. They said because of the amount I would have to answer some additional security questions.........when I asked why, they said it was to help prevent fraud................. presumably this is to stop some crook from fraudulently paying my bills

When the boiler was installed the pressure was a bit low so Scottish Gas Network dug a large hole to check and replace the connections.
11 days later its srill there, 5 days is their target. Numerous phone calls later theyre getting someone to look into it........their words
