Hi people,
A while ago I've posted some pictures of my russian tanker on the edge of a trench.
Well, that vignette had an accident, so I had to rebuild it all! With your comments in mind, I made a new one... And now I proudly can say that it's done! Its my third one I've finished and it tastes for more...
I've always seen figurepainting as my third hobby (first my horses, second going out ) but now... it has become my second hobby since I've been under the knife with my leg. And in the futur I want to spend more time to it too!

Here are the pictures, all critism is welcome. I got a long way to go to satisfy myself with the results

Wesley - Nicely done! The face is excellent! An interesting long, sorrowful looking one! That's original, isn't it?

The front part of the coat is well done also - nice folds, prominent seams, clean sculpting. A small critique - it may be the photos, the angles of the shots...not sure, but it looks like there are fewer folds in the back of the coat, back of the sleeves vs. the front. I may be wrong.

I have got to agree with you that there are less folds in the back of the figure.
I don't have got the skills of sculpting to rebuild a figure, never the less, I don't have got the greatest paintingskills too... Still learning. Maybe who knows, in a couple of months...

nicely done. I think I like this final version better than the first. The figure is much more prominent in this lower setting. I like the weathering you added to the bottom of the coat. Good stuff. Keep it up!

Goed gedaan ee mannuku. Ik vind het heel erg goed. Zelf het schilderen gaat je zeer goed af zo te zien. Eigenlijk had ik niets anders van je verwacht.
Ik mag hopen dat je hem volgende keer mee neemt naar de club, kon gisteravond nml. niet.
