I've got high hopes of 3 busts for Christmas and this is one of them......an absolute cracker. (y)(y)

I've got this and Storm troopers Viking as 'wallpaper' on the main PC and my wife and daughters laptops so fingers crossed.
The third one is still to be seen ;)

I got today this miniature. I took advantage of the exceptional conditions at ElGreco during Christmas time.

I don't have the skills to do monumental reviews such as the great ones by Kevin Peart, but please allow me to say some brief lines:

I mentioned previously so many times that each Elite sculptor has a very strong point where he is clearly ahead. In the case of Ju-Won, Jung I admire the most the way he sculpts, like to other, hair. The realism of hair in his creations is truly breathtaking! What others avoid, he really goes in to a wild battlefield delivering finely rendered hair that greatly enhances non helmeted figures. Fine hair is a great focal positive point to add interest to a miniature.

But this fat guy does not have hair showing! :) So, how would I speak about it, at this time without images? ...

Well, tonight, I received a fantastic bust (and literately gigantic - it approaches more on the 250mm busts, rather than 200mm) that assembles quick and easy - it almost looks an injection molded kit as you even have positive locating pins.

Textures are top notch, foldings are outstandingly realistic, and the face is superbly well made. All in all, due to his sheer size, simplicity in building and the visual impact of this very huge man it is clearly a bust that a novice can place in the pole position because he will get, for sure, superb results with this miniature: Eyes in this scale are a piece of cake, and the sculpt quality will really help you out (y)

More experienced guys are already researching tunics and shields to create a spectacular design, but that is another story! Summing up, a classic is born to everybody's entertainment!

(and this big big big guy will certainly stand out in competition tables :hilarious: )

Cheers!
