Hi all,
It gives me great pleasure to show the painted box art, superbly done by Alex Long in this his first commercial box art piece ( more to come) , a big thanks Alex :)

The bust is available from the link below
http://www.cgsmilitaryfigures.co.uk/#/shop/4566574838/CR03-French-Currasier-200mm/7154578
He is quite a tricky one to photograph due to the sword, I have plenty of photographs and will happily forward any colour images to those who have already purchased the bust
Hope you enjoy and best wishes

I already said it before, and luckily miniatures such as this empathize my thoughts: In commercial miniatures, Carl Reid is the biggest story teller figurine world has ever known. It is incredible how he picks the bust gender, that is a fragment of a person, and creates a full invisible environment around it. This miniature even has noise - anyone can feel, and get thrilled by the roaring sound of the charge! It is fantastic!

I don't know about you guys, but if we would have the hard task to elect the most striking bust ever created ... this creation would surely be a hard candidate to beat!

Absolutely unbelievable miniature! And a fantastic painting too! :) Cheers!

And one for the cart as soon as possible! :hilarious:

Fantastic sculpt coupled with a beautiful paint job make for an outstanding piece. Bravo!!!

Billy :)

P.s Why can't someone do some really crap box art so that us mortals don't feel so bad when we butcher these exquisite sculpts. ;)

Hello Graham, Thanks for posting Alex's excellent boxart painting, fabulous work. This bust just has to made into a full figure, so many people want it that way, myself included. How about it Carl??? any plans in the works. In my opinion, it would become an instant classic horse and rider masterpiece. Regards, SG:)(y)(y)
