are there books about the german special unit the Brandenburgers available (also called the Ebbinghaus group in early days)?
I'm reading everything I can about this very interesting unit (from polish campaign to the ardennes offensive). Just read about actions in leros and kos but they seemed to have been everywhere.

Many thanks

Although there's not much detail on their exploits in it, Osprey Men at Arms #380 "German Army Elite Units" has a small section on the Brandenburgers with some typically good uniform plates.

Hope this helps,

Brian

I have this book from Ian Westwell in my library

Branden burgers "the third reich's special forces" its a spearhead title.

Your welcome Patrick, have you found me a job yet? :D Last nights Chimay gave me a very good nights sleep, 9%

Roger

The only available jobs in belgium at the moment is one prime minister and several govermental topjobs, but be sure to get some very sharp knives in your back !

Ok, be sure to give me a shout when one of the Trappist breweries are looking for someone to sweep floors.

Roger

Well most of them are made in monastaries, so if you don't mind becomming a monk....
Maybe you still can do some painting as a miniaturist for their books.
