Imperium Miniatures
"Braunschweig, 1815"
54mm resin
9 resin parts

Braun 01.jpg

This is the last in a series of reviews I have done for Imperium over the last 8 months. It is of the "Braunschweig, 1815" cast in gray resin and packaged in a cardboard box with all parts sealed in a zip-lock bag.

Above you see all of the 9 resin parts still attached to the resin casting blocks.

Above is the sword and the resin cast base also supplied with the kit.

Conclusion:
I have found all of the Imperium kits to be of exceptional quality in their casting and find this to be an exceptional kit as well. Highly recommended.

!

I know this is gonna sound kinda funny, but wouldn't this kit look great presented in a blister bubble pack, just like the old Airfix 'collectors series', with a cardtop illustration of............ 'Jagers stealthily moving through a wood'?........... or is it just me?

I've had the privilege of meeting Roy Cross (who did a lot of the Airfix aircraft boxtops), bloody nice fella, and indeed i feel that alot of my first Tamiya kits were bought more by the boxtop art than the contents within (the figures were sh*te!).

In the internet age we no longer have to worry about the contents of any manufacturers products.......they'll be opened and reviewed by someone somewhere at sometime on the 'net.

So bring back boxart!!!! The thing that stirred our imaginations in the first place!

Lovely!
Jon.
