Now this is really nice , love all the details that you have incorporated ...guess I might just be contacting Stormproopers ...again !!!

Just as a matter of interest is this based on any painting ...and how does the horse fit in with the actual bust?

I was searching for your latest work yesterday. I had a feeling you were about to show something new. It was perfect timing. Just like the quote from the Star Wars movie "I felt a disturbance in the force."

Beautifully modelled. A service cap would also be an option (likewise a pith helmet). The cavalry bridle is not quite accurate (see: http://www.lighthorse.org.au/images...-and-conduct/equipment/Bridle - Headstall.JPG).

Very nice. I would agree about the alternative headgear but it's nice to see that the cavalrys role post 1914 hasn't been forgotten.

Maybe the headgear of the horse is accurate and the link is from the modern headgear. It seems that the old headgear can't be used anymore because its not animal friendly.

The horses head kit should be the 1902 Universal Pattern with the Universal Reversible Portmouth Bit. As still used by the King's Troop RHA and the Household Cavalry for watering order.
