Hey gang,

Now that life seems to be getting normal again, I have more time to paint figures. i have taken some pics of my latest which I include here. The figure is a 54mm white metal casting by Pegaso and painted entirely in acrylics. The "tree" started life as a trunk by Armand Bayardi and some PE leaves. The branch to the leaves and the roots were then sculpted with Duro. The tree too was painted in acrylics. All was mounted on a base by DMC desidn from Germany.

I would LOVE to hear all your thoughts about this figure. I also hope that I'll have some more time to react this time.

Best wishes,

Gino

Hey Gino!

Was wondering where you have been, Im glad that you are back again!

The figure looks really nice. I like the effect on the pants, very well done. Maybe some closeups of the figure, would love to see it closer! The groundwork looks very good as well!

Gino, Very nice. I like the various backgrounds you used for your pics. Let's see some view of that face.~Gary

Looks "SUPER" Gino...........right down to the groundwork. I have this figure stashed away....after seeing yours I may have to bump it up to next in line.

Hi Gino!

good to see you back here again.

I was at TnT the other week, and came looking for you at lunchtime on the sunday, but non of the Blue Shirts knew where you were and I had to leave!

Still got to see some of your figures in the flesh! Very nice, my good man......and I heard you had a successful day competition wise - well done!

Like what you've done with the Briton. Groundwork is very nice, especially the leaves. And the alternative backgrounds!

Seems like youve bought some stuff from Dave when it comes to the base.
The groundwork is very good and I especially like the leggings.

On the other hand I would myself prefer some more contrast in the beard and face judging from the photos, which might play a trick upon me.

Gino , I echo everybody's comments, especially where they ask for a face closeup.

So here are the pics you've asked for.

Hi Rob,

I was at TnT the other week, and came looking for you at lunchtime on the sunday, but non of the Blue Shirts knew where you were and I had to leave!

I was visiting the local market at that time (we had to do something the wife likes too ) and afterwards we went to Pizzahut (great pizza's even better waitresses ). I got back at the show at about 13:00 hours. My models were there all the time, some on the clubstand and others at the competition tables. I would have liked to meet you too. It's always nice to put a face on a name. I'll be there for two days at Euro, not visiting the market then. There's so much more to see at Euro then at TnT. Well, I just got lucky on the competition that day. I should have played with the loto, who knows...

Hi Uruk-Hai,

Yes Dave is THE MAN when it comes to supplying bases and Bayardi stuff. He always gets to make the base I have in mind. I'm very thankfull for knowing Dave and to have him as a good friend. We had lots of fun last weekend at the Antwerp show. Dave, YOU DA MAN!!!

Greetings,

Gino

Hey Gino!

I am sure the awards were very well earned and not luck! Thanks for the closeups, one of your best so far in my opinion :) Keep up the great work!
