This is Brognir. The bust was sculpted by Raul Garcia Latorre via his line MProyec. He released some nice fantasy miniatures and bust via MProyec ... sadly the line is discontinued. Though, Latorre sculpted some more great fantasy miniatures/busts for Hera Models, Black Crow Miniatures ... to name two brands.

I have this bust for a very long time now (since release I think, whenever that was). I painted him three times. I learned a lot this year, so I gave him a new paintjob. I didn't want to put to much time and effort into him. Took me four-five evenings to paint the bust. I'm quite happy with him.

Here's a little progress. I didn't take many pictures of the progress. The skin was pretty easy. And don't have pictures of the progress.

I wasn't sure what to do with the tunic. I wanted to use similar colors as the boxart. Green, brown, Yellow.

I started with this. Made out of the two fabric parts. The stripes on the back are straight because I thought it would be if this was one part of fabric. I tried to take the foldings and warping of the fabric into account. It looked strange.

I decided that the tunic is split into four fabric parts. I misaligned the stripes on purpose. I added all the stitches to make it even more clear that the tunic was made out of four parts.

Hi there

Nice explanation on the stripes , like your thinking on being misaligned

Thanks for update

Cheers for supporting FOTM as well

Look forward to seeing more from you
