Hi guys didn't know where to put this one I made this up late last night. Got sick of all my brushes living in a coffee cup. Most people make their holders out of wood but I work in the metal trade so here it is.....thanks for looking!

This looks a well engineered bit of work and will certainly keep brushes in a nice order.
Most of us keep them in some sort of jar ,jug etc including myself ; but the reality is that they are best kept laid flat which will stop any paint residue running into the ferrule which is the demise of all brushes

I love the hightech look, very man cave, beautufully overengineered and blokish, and powdercoated too.
This is a 'serious soluton commitment'.......proper job! ;) :)

My brush holders are made from glueing together the plastic tube centres of card machine and cash register till rolls.

Ask your local shop assistants to keep a few, you will be amazed how many are thrown away.

The honeycomb of tubes is then glued onto a drinks coaster for stability.

Cost.....zero

Paul.

Robinsons do some nice holders but you have to eat the jam or the handles get sticky

Nice one, this is a really nice piece of kit, you could also arrange brushes by size with labels as the lettering usually comes off brushes over time, really nice work, I want one, do they come flatpack? ;)

A little resemblance don't you think? :)

I have a yeast tin with holes punched in the plastic lid and half filled with sand. The sand holds the brushes solid and also prevents the tin from sliding all over the bench. This is the only pic I have on the iPad, it was taken straight after I had an "incident" with some primer in a glass jar :(
