I'm not a great fan of all this "Black Friday" nonsense either, but that said I'm still a tad vexed that El Greco don't appear to be running their usual BF weekend offer this year.

I avoid buying from Amazon.

Many of the art shops are doing discounts anyway. Ken's Art Supplies for example.

I prefer to support my local shop any day, Friday or not. (though I'm planning to pick up some brushes while on hols in holland)

I do like shopping with Jackson's. Always well packaged and never had an issue with a Series 7 from them.
