Helo!Back again with an old bust made about 5 years ago at 1/10 scale. This is a pirate at the end of XVllth century. The facial expresion is inspired by a picture of Iggy Pop from the movie "Atolladero"(1995) directed by Óscar Aibar. The material used is Magic Sculp.

Greetings,

Nice job, Paul. I really like the face and the animation of the piece is excellent too. Care to share how you made the hat?

Matt

WOW! Great piece! You say it's somewhat of an older sculpt, are you looking to release it commercially? LET'S HOPE SO!!! Cool stuff!

I do not have so much with bust's, but this one is an exception.
It is so full off character (admired Iggy Pop in my younger years) and this is a must to paint for me.

Thank you for your words!I'm sorry to say that this bust was made just for the private collection of a friend of mine. There are no copies!Just future projects about other busts.
Greetings and thanks again!

Nice job Paul!

It doesn't look like Iggy, but you nailed the sneering expression which was no doubt the point. It is always a good idea to work from photos when doing faces. This keeps them from looking "generic" or contrived.

Keep up the good work!

Mike
