Jamie ,
Great panting , like the blood effects on the mail , which is also done well ....how did you go about painting the helmet ..looks well worn , nice flesh , though I would probably put a little more shading on the hairy bits , nice leather effects ...I have seen this and there was a mould line all over the helmet ..any comments on the casting itself as in my opinion some of the Andrea castings have not been up to their normal standard ?

Thanks for posting

Hello Nap and thank you for your words.
The helmet was painted using "grafito" and Mr. Color (iron). I don´t remember the mould line over the helmet.

Great job. I'm on my third go at the face. I'm trying to 'run' some blood from under the helmet, along the eyebrow and soaking into the beard on one side. Just can't crack the mix, either too red or too brown. Any suggestions welcome.
Any a smashing job, very well done.
Regards
Derek

Hi Derek, I used Cad. Umber Red (Ref. 70.814 Vallejo) to paint blood, but I'm sure I mixed it with other colours that I use to pain shadows and midtones (deep orange, violet and magenta)
