What colour do you guys paint teh underside of your busts or do you paint them at all?


I have my Hussar nearly done and realised he needed this doing to him.

I have always painted black.
But no reason not to paint any other colour or even the colour of the coat

I suppose it depends on the subject and also on what will be seen.

I do the same on the underside of Highlander's kilts by the way.

Robin, I would suggest painting it black. Any other color will draw the viewers eye to it.

Any colour you like as long as it is Black. I always paint mine Coal Black from Humbrol. It is a Satin finish and I thing it looks real nice.
