As some of you will know from the 'Markets and Commissions' section, I have decided to move away from figure painting. This has not been an easy decision for me but, with a lot of soul searching, I feel that I have to accept that my standards have dropped of late. With this in mind, I have decided to go back to my roots in airbrushing large scale pieces. I have enjoyed my time on Planet Figure immensely and, would like to thank all of you for making my stay so very enjoyable.
I have learned so very much from the members here. Had a lot of laughs and, made some good friends. Whilst no longer an active member, I hope you will accept me back as an interested guest.
My very best to you all.
Ron

As I said in my PM, hope it's just a sabbatical, and hope you don't become a stranger.
Whatever you do, I hope it gives you pleasure.
You'll be missed,
Carl.(y)

Ron good luck with whatever and wherever your motivations take you.
Above all else thanks for your SBS on oil painting and "scrubbing" and the associated mental images of various furtive types lurking around the makeup sections of pound stores.

Best wishes.
Geoff

 Thanks Geoff, much appreciated. It was a great pleasure for me to share a little of what I have learned with the members who made me so welcome.
And yes, that picture will always be with me too mate :ROFLMAO:

Cheers Ron, all the best and thanks very much for your sharing your skills in your informative SBS threads.

This is a bit of a blow Ron C , I have enjoyed your posts immensely and your SBS works .
Hope the call of the brush draws you back in the not to distant future .

All the best Ron Tamburrini

Thanks Ron T. I have always enjoyed our banter mate. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Means a great deal.
You never know mate, someone may yet release the samurai I have always wanted to do.

Very best to you

Ron

It's never an easy when for whatever reason you no longer get the buzz.
Good for you Ron for taking a hard look and making a shift that will bring back the mojo(y)
When you drop by make sure you let us all have a look at what you're working on.
Cheers
Derek

As I said in the other thread mate, it'll be a poorer place without you here so hopefully you'll get back into it and we'll see some more of your work (y) I definitely want to see the dragon head you talked about
Steve

I would like to thank all of you for your kind words and sentiments. It has been a pleasure to share this forum with such a great bunch.

My very best to you all for a great Christmas and the best possible New Year.

Ron

Shadow warrior Ron,
In the true spirit of Bushido you cannot give up on the forum. The work that I have seen of yours on here still looks like your brushes are sharp as a katana. If eroding skills were a barometer I would have been out of the hobby years ago:LOL:
Merry Christmas,
Bob
