John, very nice work indeed! There are no quibbles on your painting skill at all.

However, I do feel that these two busts are totally disconnected from each other. I feel that with a bit of extra thought, and positioning as regards the 'eye contact'! between these two characters, it would give this composition that much more power! (Connection). .. This however is only my personal thought.

But great work!
