Hi Paul

You can get transfer paper for your printer at home if you wish, but its kind of transluscent or you could run a few of them out onto normal inkjet paper and peal the back layers of paper off untill its very thin then trim to the size you need it at and use a spray glue to attach it, I have used this method before to great effect on smaller items......

Thanks Dave. I am aware of all the papers and stuff out there, but I don't have the required software to reduce the design down to size.

Hmm, i'm not sure of the software needed either. Havin' said that though, I would willingly repay anyone out there with an ALPS printer who could do this for me.

Cheers Dave.

You might try this old heraldry painting technique (low-tech!):

Get the image the exact size you want - either on your computer or by photocopying it.

Take a #2 pencil and scribble until you cover the BACK of the paper with lead in the area of the image. You have now made what amounts to carbon paper.

Turn the image over and trace it on your figure using a pencil.

Paint the image on the figure following the lead pencil markings.

Good luck.

So thats how they do all that intricate stuff and make it look the business.
My god, there never really is any problems are there, only solutions. The difficult part is jus' lookin' for or thinkin about 'em. Thanks PJ.
