Just a quick question mainly to our US army knowledgeable members ...can this be painted without doing the camo?

Any thoughts are welcome ...references even more so ?

Yes you can. Notice the Captain standing above his guidon bearer. The cut of his OG-107 jungle fatigue jacket is the same as your busts.
