Captain, RN, Antarctica, 1912

Hi guys,

A slightly delayed posting here. My latest effort, sculpt and paint by me, over a donor head (which now bears no resemblance to the original). Depicts the subject in the title, with a monochrome paint job, mounted on an aluminium bar, drilled into a frosted acrylic base.

I've done a fair bit of reading about polar explorers so this really appeals to me. Besides it being a first class sculpt the monochrome paint job and base work very well for the subject.

You've probably read it Steve but the best biography I have read about Scott is the one by Rannulph Fiennes.
